BOULDER CITY, NV – The St. John Fisher University men's golf team competed in the first-round of the 2024 DIII Men's Golf National Championship on Tuesday. After 18 holes of action at the Boulder Creek Golf Club, the Cardinals sit in a tie for 18
th place with a 294 (+6) score.
Nick Tellone is leading the Cardinals with an even par 72, finishing in a tie for 47
th. He four birdies to achieve that score, two in the front-9 and two more in the back-9.
Benjamin Fox finished the round with a 73 (+1) score. His three birdies in the front-9 helped keep him even but a bogey on hole-18 put him at +1.
Luke Buckley tallied a 74 (+2) on the day, going +1 on both the front and back 9 holes.
RJ Juodaitis was one stoke behind Buckley with a 75 (+3) with three birdies and finally, Joeseph DePasquale finished a score of 80 (+8).
The Cardinals are back in action on Wednesday, May 15 as DePasquale will be the first to go out on the links at 8:35 a.m.
