PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season on Thursday as they hosted Nazareth University. The Cardinals fell behind early and dropped the match, 8-1.
 
The team of Will Chubb and Tyler Hernandez earn the 8-6 win in their doubles match and that was followed by Anthony Mendoza and Anthony Molosag dropping their match, 8-2. The duo of Ryan Wilson and Mika'il Iqbal concluded the doubles matches by falling 8-3. The Cardinals dropped all six of the singles matches. Hernandez and Chubb went three sets, while Molosag, Wilson, Iqbal and Zach DeCaro all fell in straight sets.

The Cardinals clinch the no. 3 seed in the Empire 8 Championship and will play Nazareth University at Houghton University on Friday May 3 in the semifinal round
