HOUGHTON, NY – The St. John Fisher University men's tennis team took on Houghton University on the road on Saturday. The Cardinals fell to the Highlanders, 9-0, and see their record move to 1-8 on the season.
In the double portion of the match, the team of
Will Chubb and
Anthony Molosag was competitive with the duo falling 8-5.
Zach DeCaro and
Trentyn Grant fell 8-3 in their match, while
Ryan Wilson and
Mika'il Iqbal lost 8-2. The Cardinals dropped all of their singles matches, with Grant having the most competitive battle, falling 6-4, 6-2.
Up next for Fisher is a home contest against Alfred University on Friday, April 19. The Cardinals will take on the Saxons at 4 p.m.
