HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's volleyball team beat Houghton 3-0 for its sixth Empire 8 sweep of the season and third consecutive victory on Friday night at Nielsen Center.
The Cardinals improved to 15-8 overall (8-2 Empire 8) and kept their spot in second place in the Empire 8 Conference standings. They can secure the No. 2 seed for the Empire 8 Women's Volleyball Championship with a victory over Alfred University on Saturday.
