KEUKA PARK, N.Y.- The St. John Fisher University women's soccer team scored a pair of late goals to secure a 3-1 victory over Keuka College on Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals improved to 10-4-2 overall and 8-1-1 in Empire 8 play. The Cardinals now hold second place in the Empire 8 standings with one game left in the regular season.
Tied up late in the game, junior Jess Gale connected with freshman Emily Woolingham, who gave the Cardinals a 2-1 lead with her fifth goal of the season. The Cardinals struck again about four minutes later when Riley Grimm knocked in her team-leading ninth goal of the season.
The Cardinals have now won five straight games against Keuka.
