PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Three seniors scored multiple goals on Senior Day in the St. John Fisher University field hockey team's 7-0 victory over Keuka on Saturday afternoon at Growney Stadium. The Cardinals improved to 7-10 overall (5-3 Empire 8).
The Cardinals' seven goals marked their most in a home game and their third-most overall this season. Fisher took control of the contest from the jump, scoring three times early in the first period. The Cardinals added one in the second, one in the third and two in the fourth in the dominant effort.
Molly Fisher, Emma Cooper and Anna Melfi each scored twice. Audrey Grieb also had a multi-point Senior Day, recording two assists.
Junior forward Morgan Gregory scored Fisher's final goal. It was her second goal of the season.
Senior Taylor Scorocca, junior Lily Humphrey and freshman Avery McLaughlin each had an assist.
Senior goalkeeper Senja Matson made two saves and earned her second shutout of the season.
