PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's volleyball team swept Empire 8 foe Elmira on Saturday, 3-0.
The host Cardinals won the sets 25-18, 25-22, and 25-14.
Freshman Kaylene Noble led the way for the team with 11 kills, while senior Delayne Young had seven kills and three aces. Young also tied sophomore Kiera Hartpence for digs in the game, with 10. Sophomore Madalyn Bouton had five blocks, while fellow sophomore Reilly Morrow led the squad in assists, with 30.
Fisher is now 2-0 in Empire 8 play this season. They continue their conference schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at rival Nazareth University. Gametime is set for 7:00 P.M.
