KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's soccer team shut out Keuka College on Saturday, 1-0.
The Cardinals not only held the Wolves scoreless, but also prevented a single shot on goal- and just three shots overall.
Senior Joey Avallone extended his team goal lead with the go-ahead score in the third minute of the first half, assisted by sophomore Reese Powers. The Sport Management major has three goals on the season, while Powers has two assists.
Overall, Fisher outshot Keuka, 24-3.
The Cardinals are now 1-0-1 in the Empire 8 this season, and will look to remain undefeated on Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. when they host Alfred University.
