CANTON, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University golf team competed at the St. Lawrence Invitational hosted by St. Lawrence University. The men's team tallied a score of 591, hitting under 300 in both rounds to claim 1st Place.
 
Two Cardinals claimed the top spots of the leaderboard. RJ Juodaitis was the first place finisher scoring 142 including an incredible 67 in the first round. Luke Buckley was not far behind, recording a score of 145 thanks to a strong second round where he scored a 70. Bryce Barber and Ben Fox were both top-10 finishers, securing a tie for 7th with a total score of 154. Barber shot 75 in the first day and 78 in the second, and Fox hit 80 in round one, but a strong 73 in the second.
 
Joe DePasquale finished in a tie for 14th, scoring 155 and Nick Tellone rounded out the top-20 with a total score of 159.
 
Up next for the Cardinals is a competition hosted by Hamilton College, starting on Friday, Sept. 8.
