UTICA, NY – The St. John Fisher University Men's Track and Field team traveled to Utica, NY as they competed in the Utica Pioneer Fast Chance Meet.
On the Track
Starting the day on the track, Fisher competed in the 100m.
Trenton Wynn ran 11.35, finishing 10
th overall. Later in the meet,
Riley Nash competed in the 1500m. Nash ran 4:15.57, finishing 10
th overall. A few events later, multiple Cardinals competed in the 400m hurdles.
John Ruggio ran 58.27, finishing seventh overall. Luke Defio finished ninth overall, running 1:00.03.
On the Field
First on the field, Fisher competed in the hammer throw.
Jack Bickford threw 48.73, placing seventh overall. With his throw, Bickford qualifies for the AARTFC meet.
Up next, qualifying Cardinals will be travelling to Selinsgrove, PA as they compete in the Atlantic Regional Championship (AARTFC). The two-day event will be hosted by Susquehanna University and will be on Wednesday, May 17 and Thursday, May 18.
