PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University track and field team were at home on Friday to begin the Cardinal Classic Invite. The Cardinals hosted a variety of teams for open throws. The competition will continued on Saturday, April 28 with the first event going off at 9:15.
 
Paige Lundgren claimed first place in the javelin. Her second attempt went 25.99 meters. Lillian Farrand used a mark of 14.29m in her second throw to come in fifth place. In the Hammer throw, Anna Steed finished in first with a throw of 39.51 and teammate, Erin McGuinness, took third place with a throw of 34.38.
