ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's tennis team was on the road on Tuesday, taking on Nazareth College. The Cardinals were unable to win a game and fell by a final score of 9-0, moving them to 4-7 overall and 4-3 in conference competition.
Anthony Molosag was partnered with
Nick Licciarddello for a duos match that they dropped 8-3. The team of
Zach DeCaro and
Will Chubb also fell by an 8-3 finals.
Jake Anthony and
Sean Danahy was the third combination and they lost 8-1.
Danahy went three sets with his opponent and dropped the tie breaker in the third by a final score of 12-10. Licciarddello also went three set, losing the tie breaker of the first by a 7-3 tally. Chub, DeCaro and Molosag fell in their matches in straight sets.
Up next for the Cardinals is another conference match, this time at home against Utica University. The competition is slated for a 4 p.m. start time.
