LEWISBURG, PA – The St. John Fisher Men's Track and Field team traveled to Lewisburg, PA, as they competed in the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. Day three took place on Sunday and was hosted by Bucknell University.
On the Track
First on the track, multiple Cardinals competed in the 800m.
Myles Andersen ran 1:58.53, taking 147
th overall. Not far behind,
Peter Briggs ran 1:59.06, placing 155
th overall. Andersen and Briggs both moved up the conference leader board. Tony DiRubbo finished 168
th overall, after running 2:00.01, qualifying him for the Empire 8 (E8) Championship. All three runners ran lifetime personal bests.
Next up,
Trenton Wynn competed in the 110m hurdles. Wynn ran 17.83 to place 56
th overall. His time qualifies him for the E8 Championship.
Shortly after, Fisher competed in the 400m.
Cole Ferris ran 50.63, placing 55
th overall. Next,
Brady Bishop ran 51.66, placing 81
st overall. Rob Hartigan ran 52.21, placing 93
rd overall. All three runners ran season bests.
Later in the meet, Fisher competed in the 100m.
Curtis Cuvilly ran 11.19, finishing 72
nd overall. Wynn ran 11.43, placing 98
th overall.
Ending the day, Fisher competed in the 200m. Bishop ran 22.81, placing 69
th overall, and moved up to fourth in the conference.
Cole Ferris finished 83
rd overall, running 23.12, also moving up in the conference.
Next up, Fisher will be competing in the University of Rochester – Spring Classic Invite. The invite will take place on Saturday, Apr. 22, and will be hosted by the University of Rochester.
