TERRE HAUTE, IND. – The St. John Fisher University men's basketball team moved to 6-4 on the year with a 73-63 victory at Rose-Hulman on Sunday.
The Cardinals led 34-30 at the half. The Engineers tied it at 35 early in the second half and then tied it again at 39 a few minutes later, but the Cardinals then outscored them 34-24 the remaining 17 minutes of the game.
Graduate student Daniel Cook led the Cardinals with 29 points and was second on the team with nine rebounds. The forward also notched four assists, three blocks, and two steals. Senior Connor Recore had 11 rebounds, while sophomore Brendan McRoy had 15 points.
Senior Brad Fowler had a team-leading five assists.
Fisher returns to action on Monday, Dec. 18, at 2:00 P.M., facing Millikin University on the campus of Rose-Hulman.
