PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Empire 8 Conference announced its All-Conference Awards for Men's Cross Country on Monday and several members of the St. John Fisher University team earned honors. The all-conference teams were determined at the Championship Meet on Oct. 28.
 
First-Team
Ethan Billings finished the 8K with a time of 25:41.0, good for a first-team All-Empire 8 honor and around 20 seconds ahead of his rival, Nazareth's Nate Bowers.
 
Second-Team
Riley Nash placed 11^th with a time of 26:16.9.
 
Third-Team & Sportsman of the Year
Anthony DiRubbo took 21^st with a mark of 26:54.2. Bogdan Rozvora finished the race in 16^th with a time of 26:33.3. Jace Stuart crossed the finish line in 17^th place with a  time of 26:41.4 and was also named Sportsman of the Year.
 
One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2023 Men's Cross Country Sportsman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen.
