PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- St. John Fisher University has announced the hiring of Connor McJury as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. The Cardinals Athletic Department welcome's McJury to the staff.

McJury joins the Cardinals' staff after two years as assistant strength and conditioning coach at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he worked with the basketball, volleyball, rowing, softball, swimming, baseball, and soccer teams, while assisting with the rest of the school's athletic teams.

Before RIT, McJury spent four years serving as assistant strength and conditioning coach at SUNY Cortland, and aided the Red Dragons in winning 13 Conference Championships and 1 National Championship (gymnastics).Â

McJury also worked as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in the high school setting, where the Victor Blue Devils won 2 State Championships in 2 years (Girls Lax and Volleyball) and coached at Next Level Strength and Conditioning in nearby Fairport, NY. Â

He earned his bachelor's degree from SUNY Brockport in 2015 and his master's degree from Cortland in 2017, both in exercise science. He is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.
