With the win, Fisher improves to 4-6 on the season and 3-1 in the Empire 8 conference, while Medaille slips to 2-7 on the season and 2-2 in Empire 8 play.
After a scoreless first quarter of play, Fisher took control in the second period, scoring three goals in four minutes. Sophomore

Audrey Grieb was the other scorer as the team tallied five goals in 15 minutes of action.
The Cardinals padded their lead in the third period, on goals from Grieb,

Fisher padded her total goals by adding one in the fourth period, her fourth of the day. The sophomore finished with four goals, eight points, and seven shots. Her four goals and eight points tops her previous record of three and seven, respectively, which was set on 11/2/2021 against rival Nazareth College.
Behind terrific defense from the Cardinals, Medaille was only able to get one shot off all game. This marks the first time the defense has held the opposition to zero shots on goal since 10/13/2021 at Keuka.
Fisher will look to continue their strong performance on Sunday, when they head to Vermont for a matchup against Middlebury College.
