ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team saw its conference record evened on Sunday as the Cardinals fell to Nazareth College, 7-2, at the Golisano Training Center.  With the defeat, Fisher slipped to 3-6 on the year and 1-1 in the Empire 8 while the Golden Flyers improved to 5-3, 1-1, respectively.

After falling at first and third doubles, the Cardinals managed to salvage a point in the second flight as Jake Anthony and Sean Danahy came out on top, 8-5.

Leading 2-1 with six individual matches to be played, Nazareth squeezed out a win at first singles over Danahy, 2-6, 6-7 (3-7) while Jordan O'Connell fell at sixth singles in three sets, 5-7, 7-5, 5-10.  The team's lone win came at fifth singles as Anthony posted a 6-4, 6-4 decision.
