PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team defeated Oswego State in a non-conference battle in straight sets 25-23, 25-21, 25-17, as the team celebrated its Senior Day. The Cardinals improve to 20-6 overall on the season, while the Lakers fall to 10-13.
Rebecca Hay returned to the setter position and tallied a game-high 30 assists. Senior
Katie Mazierski celebrated her Senior Day with an all-around performance of 15 kills, eight digs, and three service aces.
Fellow senior
Anna Marcy notched nine kills, three blocks, and three service aces as well. Rounding out the seniors,
Amanda Miller and
Madison Karwas each added three service aces and two and three kills respectively.
Elise Kreuz added eight digs from the libero position, which puts her only five digs away from 1,000 in her career.
The Cardinals are back in action at 1:30 p.m. as they return to conference play where they will take part in an Empire 8 Crossover taking on Stevens Institute of Technology, followed by Hartwick at 4 p.m.
