The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team fell 4-1 to Keuka College in its season opener of the 2016 season.

The Wolves gained an early 2-0 lead in the first 16 minutes of the match, and would score again in the 32nd minute to make it a 3-0 game before half.

The Cardinals missed an opportunity just 10 minutes into the game on a corner kick from
Glenn Roschetzky, finding
Jeff Meyers at the back post, who would head the ball into the crossbar.

Another opportunity to cut the Wolves' lead by one came late in the first period as the Cardinals found themselves down 2-0 just before half.
John Maroney sent a shot off his head that was blocked by the Keuka goalkeeper, but deflected in front of the net before a defender was able to clear the ball into safety.

Fisher got on the board with just 9:27 to play as
Michael Piccarreto played a long ball upfield which
Tyler Randall found, heading the ball to Meyers who would find the back of the net.
