The St. John Fisher College volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-12) to Oswego State Wednesday evening. With the loss, the Cardinals move to 3-6 on the year while the Lakers improve to 6-2.
Fisher was led by
Anna Marcy, who tallied a team-high eight kills on the night. She was helped out by
Madison Karwas and
Katie Mazierski who recorded four and three, respectively.
Controlling the setting for the Cardinals was
Phoebe Kane, who notched 14 assists throughout the three sets.
Defensively, Marcy picked up ten digs for Fisher, while at the net
Erica Pawlewicz and
Candice Greer both collected two blocks.
The Cardinals will resume action at on Friday as they kick off the seven-team St. John Fisher College Invitational. The team will begin with a 3 p.m. game against Buffalo State followed by a match at 7 p.m. against Baldwin Wallace University.
