The St. John Fisher College women's soccer program battled visiting Hartwick College to a 1-1 tie on Saturday at Fisher's Growney Stadium.

With the tie, Fisher moves to 2-6-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the Empire 8 Conference, while Hawks move to 6-3-2, 1-1-2.

After a scoreless first half, Fisher took the lead in the 50^th minute.  Tara Marcello crossed the ball to senior Carly Finn, who found the back of the net.   The Hawks, however, would tie the
game up at 1s 13 minutes later and neither team would score for the remainder of the game.
 
Senior goalie Gabriella Cotugno stopped two shots for the Cardinals over 110 minutes.
 
Fisher returns to action at 1 p.m. on Sunday and will host Elmira College in the College's annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Game.
