The St. John Fisher College volleyball program went 1-1 on Saturday, as the Cardinals hosted Ithaca College and Hartwick College in Empire 8 Conference crossover matches.
The Cardinals lost 3-0 to Ithaca in its first match, but earned a split after posting a 3-1 win over Hartwick later in the day.
Following the Hartwick match, Fisher improved its record to 8-11 overall and 4-2 in the Empire 8. Â The Cardinals are currently in a tie for third place in the Empire 8 standings. Â Fisher returns to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Keuka College.

Candice Greer and
Anna Marcy each finished with seven kills, while
Phoebe Kane tallied a team-high 20 assists. Â
Katie Mazierski finished with seven digs.
Fisher 3, Hartwick 1
For Fisher,
Amanda Miller led her team with 12 kills, five blocks and four aces. Â Marcy finished with a double-double, posting a team-high 18 digs and 11 kills.
Jessica Simonetti totaled 16 digs, while
Danielle Reid and Kane combined for 33 assists.
