The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team fell to 0-2 on the season after losing 5-0 on Friday to nationally-ranked SUNY Oneonta in the Mayor's Cup Tournament.
The Cardinals fell behind early as the No. 3 Red Dragons (2-0) took a 2-0 advantage in the fifth minute of the contest.
Fisher junior
AJ Klemczak made an attempt to cut into the Oneonta lead just two minutes later but his shot sailed high over the crossbar. The Cardinals ultimately were unable to find the back of the net as the Red Dragons tallied three more goals before winning 5-0.
Freshman
Joseph Catalfamo started in net for Fisher and faced 22 shots and made five saves.
The Cardinals will continue play in the Mayor's Cup at 1 p.m. on Sunday as the Cardinals take on Medaille College.
