The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team fell 3-2 in overtime to Medaille College on Saturday.
With the loss, Fisher falls to 0-3 on the season, while Medaille advances to 2-0.
Fisher struck first with a goal from
Bryan Rollins in the 16
th minute. The sophomore would score again in the 80
th minute to bring the game to a tie at 2-2.
The contest extended after two overtime periods before Medaille found the back of the net in the 104
th minute.
After a strong defensive showing in the first overtime period, the Cardinals had a potential game-winning opportunity in the second overtime period off of a corner kick, but could not capitalize on the chance.
Fisher returns to play on at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday when they take on Empire 8 opponent Hobart College in Geneva, NY.
