The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team lost 2-1 to the Ithaca Bombers on Saturday.
With the loss the Cardinals fall to 0-9 on the season and 0-2 in the Empire 8 Conference, and the Bombers advance to 2-4-1 and 2-0 in the Empire 8.
Ithaca opened the game with a goal in the 16
th minute off a corner kick, and again in the 23
rd.
Fisher went into the second half down by two when
Jake Gentile rallied with his first goal of the season and found the back of the net in the 53
rd minute to shorten the deficit by one.

Joseph Catalfamo recorded six saves for the Cardinals.
