The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team fell to the nationally ranked RIT Tigers 4-0 on Wednesday at Growney Stadium.
With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 2-3-1 on the season, and the 20
th ranked Tigers advance to 5-0-1 for the 2015 campaign.
Fisher started the first-halg out with aggressive play as it had two shots in the opening minutes, but could not break through the defense.
RIT struck not long after with an unassisted goal in the 15
th minute. Then just five minutes later, the Tigers found the back of the net again to make the score 2-0 heading into the second half.
The Cardinals had a scoring opportunity in the 44
th minute when 
Carly Finn took a corner kick, but came ultimately came up short in the closing minutes of the half.

The Tigers were again quick to attack early in the second, earning a goal on a long ball within the first three minutes of the half to go up 3-0. They would go on to notch the final goal of the game in the 79
th minute.
Goalkeeper 
Sarah O'Brien made her first start of the season for the Cardinals, making six saves.
Fisher women's soccer returns to action when it takes on the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bradford, PA.
