Fifth-ranked SUNY Cortland picked up a 19-4 win over visiting St. John Fisher College on Thursday afternoon. With the loss, Fisher falls to 6-4 overall, while Cortland improves to 8-1 overall.
The Red Dragons led 5-0 with just under eight minutes left in the first half, but Fisher got on the board with a goal from junior
Sierra Badger. Cortland, however, scored six more goals in the final 5:54 of the first half to take an 11-1 lead at the break and scored the first six goals of the second half to pull away.

Morgan Young,
Chrissy Cook and
Jordan Johnson also scored. Young also led Fisher with three ground balls. Senior
Samantha Barton totaled two draw controls, while
Lindsey Shoales caused two turnovers.
Fisher will return to action next Saturday at Stevens Institute of Technology.
