The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team fell 2-0 at Ithaca College Saturday in an Empire 8 Conference matchup.
With the loss, The Cardinals fall to 5-8-1 on the season, and 2-4 in the Empire 8, while Ithaca improves to 9-3-1 overall, and 3-0-2 in the conference.
The Bombers netted their first goal in the 23
rd minute, and scored the final goal with only 15 minutes left in the game.
Despite facing 23 shots, goalkeeper
Sarah O'Brien was able to hold Ithaca to only two goals and made a career-high eight saves for the Cardinals.
Fisher returns to competition at 4 p.m. on Tuesday when it takes on Nazareth College.
