The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team snapped a three-game skid after dropping host Alfred State 1-0 on Thursday night.
With the win Fisher improves to 3-8-1 on the year, while Alfred State falls to 5-7-1.
Bryan Rollins scored his first-career goal in the 44
th minute as a long pass led to a break and the freshman forward was able to sneak a shot past the Alfred State goalkeeper into the near corner.
The Pioneers outshot the Cardinals 8-7 in the game, however Fisher came out on top in the end.
Josh Klein registered three saves in net for the Cardinals.
Fisher returns to action at 3 p.m. on Saturday when it will travel to Nazareth College for a pivotal Empire 8 showdown.
