The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to host Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday. With the loss, Fisher falls to 6-10 overall and 4-3 in the Empire 8 Conference. The Cardinals are currently in fourth place in the Empire 8 standings and can secure a postseason-bid with a win or a tie at Houghton College next Saturday.
After falling behind 2-0, Fisher pulled to within one goal in the second half.

Taryn Guinta was there for the header to make it 2-1.
Fisher, however, who tallied five of its seven shots in the second half, couldn't get the equalizer.
Brooke Seavitt finished with seven saves in goal.
The Cardinals return to action at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Buffalo State College.
