The St. John Fisher College football team, who ranks No. 25 in D3football.com's latest poll, welcomes Buffalo State College to Growney Stadium at 12 p.m. this Saturday for the first Empire 8 Conference matchup between the two schools. Buffalo State has had a very impressive year, defeating then-No. 1 and reigning NCAA Division III National Champion UW-Whitewater 7-6 earlier this season.

Fisher knows the importance of each of its last two games, as it has an outside chance at the Empire 8's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship but with only two losses, also has an opportunity at an at-large bid. A loss to either Buffalo State or Utica would certainly stifle either of those opportunities.
