The St. John Fisher College women's lacrosse team
dropped a 16-9 decision at Nazareth College on Wednesday. With the loss, Fisher falls to 1-7 overall and 1-2 in the Empire 8 Conference.
Lauren Glavin scored four goals to lead Fisher, while goalie
Vicki Sahm stopped 19 shots.
Nazareth jumped out to a 6-1 lead by the midway point of the first half. The Cardinals, however, scored the next three goals and trailed 6-4 with 8:32 left.
The Golden Flyers regained command though, scoring the game's next four goals.
