The St. John Fisher College softball team split its doubleheader at Elmira College on Sunday.

In the first game, the Cardinals scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning, but came up just short, losing 6-5 to the host Soaring Eagles.

In the nightcap, Fisher's Carissa Carlson drove in three runs and Meghan Graves hit a solo home run, as the Cardinals picked up a 4-2 win.
