The St. John Fisher College softball team avenged Thursday's loss to Keuka College, as Fisher fought back to earn a 7-6 win over the Storm in an elimination game on Friday in the NCAA Championship Regional hosted by Ithaca College.
The Cardinals (32-11) will play Buffalo State College at noon on Saturday in another elimination game.
Keuka plated three runs on four hits in their half of the third take the biggest lead of the game for either team, 5-2. Fisher, who cut the lead to one behind the strength of a two-RBI double from Kristi Bradley in the fifth, capitalized on two key errors to score three times in the sixth to take the win.

Kristin McCoy took advantage of an error on the Keuka shortstop to tie the game, before an error on a ball hit to second base by
Samantha Vara scored
Megan Zoerb, giving Fisher a slim 6-5 edge.
Kelly Jones came through with an RBI groundout to give the Cardinals a two-run lead.
Senior hurler Amanda Shevchuk, who got the final three batters to ground out to end the game, struck out three in another complete-game win.
Lauren O'Brien picked up two hits, one RBI, and one run scored, while Vara scored two runs.
