With the win, Fisher improves to 6-5 overall, marking the first time the Cardinals have gone over the .500 plateau this year after starting off 0-3. Geneseo is now 5-5.
The Blue Knights took a 3-1 lead after Casie Damore scored with 17:25 left in the first half, but the Cardinals scored the final eight goals of the first half to take a 9-3 at intermission. Seven of the eight goals came in a nine minute span, with
Mary Stimson scoring the first two goals to start the spurt. Six different Cardinals scored over the final 17:14, as Fisher pushed its lead to 11 goals.

Fisher will return to action this weekend with two pivotal Empire 8 Conference road games. The Cardinals will play at Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday and at Hartwick College on Sunday. Fisher has a 3-2 record in the Empire 8 and is currently tied for fourth in the conference standings. The top four teams at the end of the regular season will advance to the Empire 8 Conference Championship with the winner of the four-team tournament earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship.
