St. John Fisher University Athletics

Ian Evans (Lafayette/Lafayette) of the men’s lacrosse team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for his on-field performance for the week ending February 23rd, 2020. 

The Cardinals started the season strong with an 18-13 win over Ithaca College. The Lafayette native led Fisher’s 4-0 run with back-to-back goals in the third quarter. Evans would put on a scoring clinic finishing the game with a career-high six goals. 

The 14th ranked Cardinals will look to continue their strong play as they host the 7th ranked Denison University at 4 p.m.
