St. John Fisher University Athletics

Leah Koonmen (Fairport/Our Lady of Mercy) of the St. John Fisher College women's basketball team has been selected as the College's Female Athlete of the Week for action taking place during the week that ended December 1, 2019.

Koonmen could not miss from deep in the Cardinals' lone matchup of the week as they hosted the Buffalo State Bengals on Tuesday night. The sophomore went 4-for-4 beyond the arc and led Fisher's scoring efforts with 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting. In just 24 minutes on the floor, she finished with a team-high six assists and hauled in two rebounds.
