St. John Fisher University Athletics

Erica Pawlewicz (Fulton/G. Ray Bodley) of the St. John Fisher College women’s track and field team has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for her on-field performances during the week than ended April 21^st. 2019.

Pawlewicz was one of the main contributors for the Cardinals at the Widener University Invite this past weekend as the senior kick started the day for the Cardinals in the 400-meter hurdles with the third fastest time in St. John Fisher history with a finishing time of 58.51 seconds. 

The Fulton native also was part of the 4X100-meter relay team that qualified for Atlantic Regionals with a finishing time of 49.90.

Both track and field teams were very successful this past weekend and Head Coach Mike Henchen was very appreciative and proud of his team’s success and hard work.

"In over 20 years of coaching track and field, I've never had a day with this number of unbelievable performances!” said Henchen "Three National leaderboard performances, one school record, 12 Atlantic Conference Regional Qualifying performances and over 30 personal records! By far the biggest single day of terrific performances we have ever had at Fisher."

The women’s track and field team returns to the track on Saturday, April 27th as the team will host the Cardinal Classic at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex.
