St. John Fisher University Athletics

Clarissa Hensler (Lakeville/Livonia) of the St. John Fisher College's women's cross country team has been named the College's Female Athlete of the Week for the week that ended November 10th, 2018. 

The sophomore was the first Cardinal to cross the finish line on Saturday afternoon, when the women's cross country team competed at the NCAA Regional Championships in Glassboro, N.J. for its final meet of the 2018 season.

Hensler posted a finishing time of 24:51.5 in the 6K event with an average mile time of 6:39.9, which was good enough for 96th place overall out of 305 competitors. As a team, the Cardinals placed 21st overall with an average team finishing time of 25:22.
