Cam Cleveland (East Rochester/East Rochester) of the St. John Fisher College football team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after a career performance on Saturday as Fisher tied its largest comeback effort in team history in a 31-28 defeat of Buffalo State.

Cleveland produced 289 total yards of offense in the win as Fisher orchestrated a drive for the ages on Saturday culminating with a 34-yard game-winning field goal.

The sophomore receiver had a career-best 12 catches for 192 yards and two scores including an 85-yard touchdown reception, which was the team’s longest play from scrimmage this season.

Cleveland also had it going on the ground with a game-high 97 rushing yards including a 30-yard scramble.
