St. John Fisher University Athletics

Bre Socker of the St. John Fisher College field hockey team has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week after leading the Cardinals to a win over William Smith College during the week that ended September 2, 2018.

Socker provided all the offense the team would need as the Liverpool native tallied her first hat trick of the season in a 3-1 non-conference win.

Overall, the sophomore forward took six shots including five on goal.

The Cardinals look to continue their early season success at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night when they take on Williams College in Clinton.
