Elise Kreuz (Buffalo/Mount Saint Marcy Academy) of the women’s volleyball team has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the week for her on-field performances for the week ending October 23rd, 2017.
The junior libero tallied her 1,000 career dig on Saturday versus Hartwick. She now holds a total of 1,032 for her Cardinal career.
On Tuesday versus Oswego State, she tallied a game-high eight digs with three service aces. Over the weekend, the team traveled to Hartwick for an Empire 8 Crossover with Stevens Institute of Technology and Hartwick. Kreuz notched 19 digs versus the Ducks and followed up with eight digs and four assists versus the Hawks.
Fisher has locked up the #3 seed in the Empire 8 Conference Tournament after finishing 2-1 this past week.
The Cardinals are back in action at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, as they travel to Cortland, N.Y. to take on SUNY Cortland in a non-conference matchup.
