St. John Fisher University Athletics

Andrew Card (Shrewsbury/Shrewsbury, Mass.) of the St. John Fisher College men’s golf team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after heling guide the Cardinals to a second place finish on Sunday at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Invite in Abbottstown, Pa.

Card finished with a two-day total of 151 (+7 - just three strokes back of the winner. The sophomore shaved nine strokes of his opening round score and was one of only two golfers to finish below par on Sunday as the Shrewsbury, Mass. native finished seventh overall in the individual standings.

The Cardinals will cap the fall portion of their season next weekend when they travels to Atlanta, Ga. to compete in the Oglethorpe Invitational.
