St. John Fisher University Athletics

St. John Fisher College’s McKenzie Bezon of the women’s basketball team has been selected as the College’s Female Athlete of Week for the week ending December 13^th, 2015.

Bezon commanded the court in one of her most successful games of her career as a Cardinal in Fisher’s 97-79 win at home over Fredonia on Friday. The Cardinals are 6-2 on the season and begin conference play on January 8^th, 2016 when they take on Elmira College.

The junior tallied a career-high 19 points as she shot 70% from the floor, going 3-5 from beyond the arc. Bezon continued to light up the stat sheet as she managed four steals, seven rebounds, and tied her own career-best in assists with five.

Fisher returns to action at 4 p.m. on January 2^nd when it travels to Buffalo to take on the Medaille College Mavericks.
