PITTSFORD, N.Y., May 11, 2015 — Scott Eisenmenger (Hilton/Hilton) of the baseball team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 10.
The freshman first-baseman recorded nine RBI and seven runs, while batting .428 (12-for-28), as Fisher went 5-1 in its final week of the season. The Cardinals finish the year with a 25-18 overall record and a third-place finish in the inaugural Empire 8 Baseball Championship.
Eisenmenger’s best game came in Fisher’s lone loss of the week against Stevens Institute of Technology. He tallied four of his team’s eight RBI, while hitting 4-for-5 with two singles, a triple and a home run.
Eisenmenger wraps up his rookie season leading his team in hits (55), slugging percentage (.616), on-base percentage (.418) and home runs (8) – which rank tied for second in Fisher’s all-time single-season records. He also recorded Fisher’s second-highest batting average at .364 and doubles (12), while racking up a third-best amount of RBI (32).
