St. John Fisher University Athletics

James Felice (Owego/Owego) of the men’s cross country team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 14, 2014.

Felice was the top finisher for the Cardinals at the Saratoga Invitational held by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday.

The freshman finished the six-kilometer course in 20:17, good for 64th place overall among 221 runners, including some from the nation’s top programs.   

Fisher totaled 390 points overall to take 14th place.

The Cardinals continue on Saturday, participating in the Yellowjacket Invitational hosted by University of Rochester at Genesee Valley Park.
