St. John Fisher University Athletics

St. John Fisher College has named Erik Mikols (Churchville-Chili/Churchville) of the men’s track and field team as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 20, 2013.

 Mikols competed on Saturday at the Spire North Coach Track and Field Open in Geneva, Ohio.

 The freshman ran the 800-meters and placed eighth overall out of 37 runners.  His time of 2:02.25 set a new Fisher record in the event.

 Fisher will return to action on Saturday at the Empire 8 Conference Championship, hosted by Ithaca College.
