Lewis, a junior, tossed a complete-game, two-hitter and didn’t allow an earned run in Fisher’s 2-1 win over visiting Rochester Institute of Technology on Sunday.

Lewis didn’t allow a hit until there were two outs in the sixth inning and was one out away from recording his first career shutout.

The pitcher worked out of jams in both the first and last innings. After picking up two quick outs in the first, the right-hander walked two and hit another batter but worked his way out of the bases-loaded situation.

In the seventh and final inning, Lewis gave up a hit with two outs, allowing an unearned run to score. With two runners on base, Lewis held on once again, inducing a pop-up to center to secure the victory.

For the season, Lewis owns a 2-1 record and has two complete games.

Fisher (17-15) will return to action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday and will host University of Rochester.
