Sean Marren

Sean Marren became St. John Fisher’s Associate Athletic Director in October 2025. In his role, Marren leads the department’s compliance and student-athlete success efforts. He also has oversight of Fisher’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee and multiple Cardinal teams. 

Marren joined Fisher’s athletics department after spending more than a decade (2012-2025) at Finger Lakes Community College. 

A seven-time MSAC Coach of the Year and the 2019 NJCAA Region III Coach of the Year, Maren led the FLCC baseball program for 14 seasons. He became FLCC’s assistant athletic director in 2019 after working on the college’s admissions staff for seven years. 

Marren played four years of collegiate baseball and earned his bachelor’s degree in history and American studies from Mary Washington University. He later completed his master’s degree in sport management at California University of Pennsylvania.

Marren and his wife, Bethany, reside in Faiport with their two daughters, Maeve and Josephine.
